Course DescriptionBuilding Healthy & Loving Relationships - Building healthy a loving relationships requires a great amount of personal awareness, dependency on God to meet our needs and not our relationships, and an understanding of who we are as God’s children; our identity in Christ. By the end of this class, our hope is to have a better understanding of ourselves and our relationships, which will enable us to function within those relationships in ways that will prove to be healthy, productive and God-inspired.
The Art of Parenting - No matter where you are on your parenting journey, a beginner or someone seasoned with grown kids, or a grandparent, you are going to love this class. We will approach the subject of parenting by how God parents His kids using love as opposed to fear. We will discuss methods of discipline, the different styles of parenting and the problems with each and hopefully, gain a new perspective on raising kids who know how to make smart choices. I am delighted that Amy Martens will be co-teaching the class with me. She is a mom of four and has had several years of walking in parenting from a grace perspective.
